Film Registration for Filmkontakt Nord
and Nordisk Panorama

Films can be submitted all year, but to be considered for the competitions of this year’s Nordisk Panorama – 5 Cities Film Festival, please note the deadlines:

Films completed last year: 15 February
Films completed this year: 15 May

Please note: To be eligible for Filmkontakt Nord or Nordisk Panorama registration, the short film/documentary must:

• qualify as an independent production
• qualify as a Nordic production or be directed by a Nordic director
• be completed within the current or preceding year
• be subtitled in English or English versioned

Before you begin, please have the following material ready for upload:

• 1 photo from the film: tiff or eps files, 10 cm wide, 300 dpi
• 1 photo of the director: tiff or eps files, 10 cm wide, 300 dpi
• Optional: a trailer/clip (max 3 minutes, English subtitles or English versioned):
  FLV, On2 VP6 codec, 96 Kbps (stereo), 320x240, 25 fps, 400 Kbit/s. Please test the trailer with the "FKN movie test (PC)" or "FKN movie test (Mac)" application before upload.
